Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of nord-space.com and the services offered through it. By using the site or submitting a request you accept them.

This document is provided for transparency and should be reviewed by legal counsel before it is relied upon as a final, binding text.

1. Who we are

Nord Space ApS, CVR 41845287, Hørmarken 8, 3450 Allerød, Denmark ("Nord Space", "we", "us"), is a Danish specialist consultancy and project office for the European and international space industry. Contact: contact@nord-space.com.

2. Scope of services

Through this site we offer: a searchable network of vetted space consultants, a matching tool that suggests specialists based on your requirement, composition of multidisciplinary Tiger Teams, and quotation requests for advisory and project engagements.

Matching results, availability indicators and profile information are provided for guidance. They are not an offer, a guarantee of availability, or a warranty that a particular consultant will be assigned to your project.

3. How an engagement is formed

A quote request is a non-binding enquiry. Nord Space responds with a written proposal covering scope, profiles, rates and terms. An engagement only exists when both parties sign, or otherwise expressly accept in writing, a proposal, statement of work or framework agreement. Where such an agreement conflicts with these terms, the signed agreement prevails.

4. Client obligations

  • Provide accurate and complete information about your requirement, timeline and constraints.
  • Provide timely access to the people, data, facilities and approvals a consultant needs.
  • Comply with all applicable export control, sanctions, security clearance and dual-use regulations relevant to the work, and tell us in advance if the work is subject to them.
  • Do not attempt to engage a consultant introduced by Nord Space outside our agreement during the engagement and for 12 months after it ends, without our prior written consent.

5. Consultants in the network

Consultants are independent professionals or companies, not employees of Nord Space unless stated otherwise. We verify credentials and experience to the best of our ability, but each consultant remains responsible for their own professional conduct, tax and insurance obligations. Some profiles are published anonymously; identities are disclosed to a client only with the consultant's agreement, normally under a non-disclosure agreement.

6. Fees and payment

Rates, fee models and payment terms are set out in the applicable proposal or statement of work. Unless otherwise agreed, invoices are issued monthly in arrears with net 30-day payment terms, excluding VAT and pre-approved travel and expenses. Late payment accrues interest under the Danish Interest Act.

7. Confidentiality

Each party keeps the other's confidential information secret, uses it only for the engagement, and discloses it only to personnel who need it and are bound by equivalent obligations. This survives termination for five years, and indefinitely for information protected by law or classified under national security rules.

8. Intellectual property

Deliverables created specifically for a client under a paid engagement transfer to that client upon full payment, unless the engagement agreement states otherwise. Nord Space retains all rights to its pre-existing methods, tools, templates, matching logic and know-how, and to the content of this website, including text, layout, graphics and logos. Nothing on this site grants a licence to reuse that content.

9. Website use

You may not scrape, harvest or bulk-copy consultant profiles, attempt to bypass access controls, submit false or misleading information, upload malicious files, or use the site in a way that disrupts it for others. We may suspend access where these terms are breached.

10. Warranties and liability

Services are performed with the professional skill and care expected of experienced space industry specialists. Beyond that, the website and its content are provided "as is" without further warranty.

To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of data, launch delay costs or loss of contract. Nord Space's total liability under an engagement is limited to the fees paid by the client for that engagement in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing limits liability for wilful misconduct, gross negligence or anything else that cannot be limited by law.

11. Personal data

We process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. Cookies and similar technologies are described in our Cookie Policy.

12. Changes

We may update these terms as our services evolve. The version published here at the time you submit a request applies to that request. Material changes to an ongoing engagement require written agreement.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Danish law, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Copenhagen City Court, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
