WHAT WE OFFER

Project Management

Space project managers who have run ESA and commercial programmes - schedule, cost, risk, suppliers and consortium coordination, including recovery of programmes that have slipped.

Technology wins contracts. Project management delivers them.

The history of the space industry is full of programmes with outstanding engineering that still ran late, over budget, or both - not because the technical work was wrong, but because the programme management around it was inadequate. Scope crept without being controlled. Risks were identified but not actively mitigated. Subcontractors missed milestones and the downstream impact was not caught until it was too late. Reviews were passed on paper but not in substance.

Good project management in the space industry is not about bureaucracy or process for its own sake. It is about maintaining clarity - on what the programme is trying to achieve, where it stands against plan, what the risks are, and what decisions need to be made by whom and when. It is about keeping a complex, multi-stakeholder technical programme moving forward in a controlled, predictable way - and recovering it quickly and intelligently when it does not.

Nord Space provides experienced space programme project managers who have led and supported programmes across the full development lifecycle. They bring the technical literacy to engage credibly with engineering teams, the organisational discipline to keep complex programmes structured and visible, and the experience to know when to escalate and when to solve problems quietly before they become crises.
